Ghostkiller Films

Ghostkiller Films began as a video production company in 2006, under the umbrella of Red Road Awareness, an organization co-founded by Lynny Prince. RRA assists American Indians in crisis and the videos Ms. Prince produces for RRA are informative, public service announcements that stress the importance of raising awareness to the national crisis of poverty, suicide, and infant mortality among American Indians, as well as protection of sacred sites. A love of the creative process of production and editing quickly blossomed to include book trailers for the novels she wrote.

As the demands of the writing business grew, so did the production side of her talents. Ms. Prince began producing trailers for other authors in 2009, and also designed a logo and began selling merchandise under The Ghostkiller Trilogy trademark in November of that year.

In early 2010, Ms. Prince split her time between writing and production to begin working on the adaptation of her novel Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller. Working with a small production company, the development of the film for her novel failed, but the experience she acquired there helped her gain the confidence to branch out on her own.

In early 2011, Ms. Prince took the creative side one step further by giving her production company a name of its own and Ghostkiller Entertainment/ Films was born. Named after her Ghostkiller character in her trilogy series, Ms. Prince has recently taken the company to a whole new level with motion pictures. Determined to see Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller on the big screen, she began pre-development in June of 2011.

Still in its infancy, GKE will produce independent films that will employ Native talent, produce films that offer positive messages and raise awareness of American Indian issues, all while entertaining audiences at the same time.

Check back for more about this dynamic new company's upcoming projects.
